President Biden on Monday refused to acknowledge his fifth granddaughter, fathered out-of-wedlock by first son Hunter Biden, during remarks at a Women’s History Month reception at the White House.
“I see a future for all Americans, a future for my daughter and my four granddaughters – by the way, they’re incredible,” the president said.
“You should meet my granddaughters. Oh, you think I’m kidding. I’m not,” he added.

Biden, 81, has on numerous occasions claimed that he has only six grandchildren, ignoring 4-year-old Navy Joan Roberts, the daughter of Hunter and his Arkansas baby mama Lunden Roberts.
The president publicly acknowledged the existence of Navy Joan Roberts last July, releasing a statement in which he claimed to want “what is best” for the little girl after his embattled son settled his child support case with Lunden Roberts.

“Our son Hunter and Navy’s mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward,” Biden said in a written statement given to People magazine.
“This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter,” he added. “Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy.”

Hunter “has never seen or contacted” Navy, and the president and first lady Jill Biden “remain estranged” from her, Roberts claimed in court documents filed last year in the child support case.
“Lunden is a great mom, and little Navy is going be fine,” Roberts’ lawyer, Clint Lancaster, told The Post last year, noting that “everybody is disappointed that there’s not more contact [with the Biden family].”

Joe Biden’s other grandchildren are Naomi, 30, Finnegan, 23, and Maisy, 22, Hunter’s daughters with ex-wife Kathleen Buhle; Natalie, 19, and Robert, 17, the children of his late son Beau Biden and wife Hallie; and 4-year-old Beau, Hunter’s son with current wife Melissa Cohen.
